Email marketing is a staple element of student recruitment, and Mautic makes it easy for schools to send emails to prospects that are both personalized and automated.
Visit the Email Dashboard
To create an email, you’ll first need to visit Mautic’s email dashboard. To get there, first click ‘Channels’ on the left-hand sidebar, and then navigate to ‘Emails’.
Create New Email
Once you arrive on the dashboard, you can then create a new email by clicking click ‘New’ in the top right-hand corner.
Choose between a ‘Template Email’ and ‘Segment Email’
You will be given the option to create either a ‘New Template Email’ or a ‘New Segment Email.’
As the image above suggests, a template email is automatically sent based on different campaign – aka ‘workflow’ – triggers. A segment email, in contrast, is sent manually to contacts that are added to particular segments.
